About Us

Whiff Soapworks, LLC was established in 2021 and operates out of North Central Illinois. We are primarily an online company that can ship anywhere in the continental United States, but you may find us selling our handcrafted products at craft fairs, farmers’ markets, and similar events throughout the Illinois Valley.

We are Katie and Theresa, and we co-founded the company. We ran cross country and track together in high school and have been great friends ever since. In addition to running, we both developed a love of collecting fragrance oils to make a variety of unique, great-smelling homemade items. We began to share our custom creations with a small circle of family and friends. As positive feedback and requests for more and more products came in, we realized the potential we had to put our passion into a business.

Our mission with Whiff is to provide products that not only smell great but also can be used regularly. The cold process soaps, soy wax melts, beeswax lip balms, roll-on perfumes, car fresheners, and body lotion we create are everyday essentials that can be enjoyed by everyone. And with access to hundreds of different fragrances, the possibilities are endless!
